Sexual benefits of regular exercise – find out how exercise can increase your libido and give you a more gratifying sex life.

Sex and exercise kind of go hand in hand in that more sex increases your gains at the gym while more exercise increases your productivity in bed. This article is just a ‘part 1’ of a 2 part series in which you will learn most of the sexual benefits of regular exercise. In this article (part 1) I will be highlighting some of the benefits.

In my course of business, as a fitness trainer, there is one particular question, among others, that has been thrown at me several times; are muscular guys good in bed? At first I found it difficult to answer this question because I felt awkward that somebody would ask me this question knowing that I’m a muscular guy. And the fact is that about 95% of the people that ask me this question are ladies. At first I got thinking, “do these ladies want to have sex with me or what?” then later I had a rethink; they are probably asking this question because they want to know whether the strength of a man is directly proportional to his performance in bed. Well with what I know now and researches that other exercise scientists have carried out in the past, I will say a big “YES!”. But I will also tell you that the fact that a man looks big doesn’t actually mean he is strong or he even exercises at all.

Now strength is not the only benefit of exercise neither is it the only factor that increases a man or woman’s productivity in bed. Strength is only one of the benefits of regular exercise, in relation to your sex life and in general. The following are a few highlighted sexual benefits of regular exercise:

Exercise Promotes The Release Of Endorphins.
when you talk about obstacle to having great sex, stress and fatigue are mentioned more often than not. Endorphins are released in the brain to combat a ‘stress hormone’ called cortisol, and the feeling of pressure. Endorphins are released when anyone exercises or has sex. The more frequent and intense the release of the endorphins, the easier it is for sexual arousal and pleasure.

Exercise Increases Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance and cardiovascular Endurance.
muscular strength plays a vital role in having an awesome sex life. Muscular strength makes it easier for you to sustain a wide variety of sexual positions that require great physical control, which makes your sex life more eventful and less monotonous. Cardiovascular endurance makes you last longer during sex – “Please tell me who won’t want that?”. Muscular endurance prevents you from having muscle cramps or injuries during sex – no body wants to have a leg cramp when “getting it on”. Lol.

Exercise Makes You Feel Sexy And Desirable.
Research has shown that exercising regularly and having a fit body improves your body image (feeling of “I’m sexy and I know it”) and makes you comfortable in your own body. This promotes libido (I have been experiencing this ever since I got into shape), relaxes you and increases your over all confidence and performance during sex.

We have come to the end of the ‘part 1’ of this series. In the ‘part 2’ I would be telling you other sexual benefits of exercise and the exercises to do to take advantage of all the sexual benefits of regular exercise. Till then, stay fit…………..

Please note that these sexual benefits of regular exercise, apply to both sexes.

you are advised to see a doctor before you make any significant changes to your diet and workout.
